Blind Side
The blind side that I possess could be considered a number of things, including my ADD, dyslexia, and fear of writing. All three of my blind sides can be labeled as my learning disability. I was diagnosed with my learning disability at the beginning of my first grade year. After I was diagnosed with my learning disability, I went through a period of time where I went to tutoring, stayed after for extra help and studied for hours. Over time, my learning disability has become less of an issue but it is still there, I have just learned to cope with the difficulties of it. Out of all education subjects, I have always struggled with English the most. From spelling to grammar to even writing a paper, I have alway struggled in not thinking it was good enough. Over the years, I have grown in my writing in many different ways. I started high school off with being in regular English classes and ended my senior year in honors English. Coming to college, I have had the chance to reinsure myself confidence in writing. I can honestly say that through my first year of college I can see a positive impact in my writing and I only hope to get better.
